TK Islam Al-Karim School was established in 2012 under the Al-Karim Foundation in Bandar Lampung. TK Islam Al-Karim School is located at Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro, Perum Wismamas Block J2A No. 7-8-9, Sumberrejo Sejahtera Village, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province, Indonesia.

TK Islam Al-Karim School was founded by Abi Abdul Karim. In its first year, TK Islam Al-Karim School successfully welcomed 84 new students, supported by 5 teachers, 1 administrative staff member, and 1 kindergarten principal.

In its early years, learning activities were conducted using the Center-Based Learning Method (Sentra). The school has continued to improve and develop its educational programs through professional training and independent learning. As part of its continuous efforts to improve educational quality, the school transitioned from the Center-Based Learning Method to the Area-Based Learning Model (Area), which is currently implemented. In 2025, TK Islam Al-Karim School received a A accreditation from BAN PAUD.

TK Islam Al-Karim School has the vision of “Building a Generation of Noble Leaders who are Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin”, with the mission of implementing AL KARIM as the foundation of education: Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadith as the primary sources of learning; honesty, courage, discipline, trustworthiness, justice, diligence, faith, and noble character.

The preschool program places a strong emphasis on character education, good manners, and noble Islamic values. The preschool program is divided into two programs: Playgroup, for children aged 3–4 years, and Kindergarten, for children aged 4–6 years.
